It's a common misconception that driving if the way to get to temp. But there is no thermostat on the AT, and the radiator can cool the fluid very well while you are driving.

All that is required is a short drive to warm up the engine, then just let it idle. With a minimal amount of air passing through the radiator the fluid temp can reach 80c (not 85) fairly quickly. If you are outside on a cold day you may have to block part of the radiator with cardboard.
