So, thought the spirits had settled down. Shut off car, Tele Aid light off, SRS light off. Walk away, everything seems okay. Came back later and looked in to make sure Tele Aid light still off and guess what?

The radio is on. No key in car, radio was off when last shut down. Turned radio off, and now I am wondering how to explain this. Radio code was re entered after battery was hooked back up. Is there something here that sounds familiar to anyone. I know tele aid must talk through the radio, but would it turn on the radio by itself when key is out of car, and no Tele Aid light on?

I have read on prior posts that taking the Tele Aid out and disconnecting Tele Aid button was one way of purging the Tele Aid demons, but I hate to remove features.

I can not believe the engineers in Germany would put up with this, particularly since it could leave an owner stranded with drained battery.
