Using a new five way connector was your mistake.
You need a three way "F" connector.
The two lines that go to the right side of the vehicle need to be eliminated and all the devices on the right side can be eliminated. They control EGR and ARV functions only and are commonly the source of vacuum leaks that result in very hard shifts.
Dave has a p/n for the "F" connector somewhere on here. I can find it when I'm thinking more clearly.
