Oil pressure should be at 3 Bar~45 PSI at 1500 RPM and higher even when hot. If is is less, something is worn in the lubrication system. If the engine was rebuilt not long ago, I would suspect the oil pump if it was not replaced when the engine was overhauled.

What weight oil are you using? you might try a heavier weight oil such as 15W50.
