Thats what i'm getting a W211 E320 CDI -- now that my wife loves and stole my W210, I'm next in line for the upgrade. I love the CDI engines. The engine in the sprinter is awesome. Is it the same engine? It will be a few years before i can afford one
. Although i kind of like the high head room on the W210. If you are tall you will really like it.
I noticed as i had the W210 on the lift and had a tire off that the plastic shields under wheel wells to keep debris from flying up there were still nice and tight. I pulled it off and there was tons of wet dirt / sand / leaf mixture in there that i cleaned out. I wonder if that contributes to the rust, lots of underbody panels you need to clean out every now and then.
I'll post some pics of mine when I investigate for rust. I didn't see any off hand.
