I had a trusty set of original Mercedes tools for a 123, including reversible screw driver and a large (12") adjustable wrench. Plus a spare belt!
The other tools I mentioned like the universal joint, box end wrnech were extras, the Felo screwdriver was part of the tool kit.
I will check on the size of the fuel filter bolt.
I didn't need them for this but two pair of flat welding clamps would keep all fuel in both hoses around the little primary filter in case that was blocked, without major fuel spillage.
PLus, what spare parts? It's only by laziness that I kept extra alternator belts in the car!
