Short history - My 1969 w115, 220 gaser was given to me. It had sat for at least 4+ years and was put away a mess. I rebuilt the Stromberg Carb from top to bottom, replaced all gaskets for manifolds, checked spark etc., hooked up the water choke too, new gas - the works. Yes I have a new diaphram and ATF in the top.

So I get it to turn over, cough, gag, catch catch and it starts to run on it's own . . . but only with the pedal all the way to the floor - it starts to smooth out pretty well at a mid range rpm and goes no higher even though the pedal is on the floor - as soon as you come off the accelerator it dies. Where do I go from here . . . These carbs are new to me . . . Help.
