I doubt that the problem fixed itself, but this morning the SRS light was off and the steering wheel controls were functional again.

I checked the voltage and it's still at 12.7-12.8 volts.

Could anyone else with a 1998-199 W210 check their CCU and confirm/refute that this is the proper voltage range for the car?
