I should have mentioned that I already have the chain installed and even with the tensioner all the way out there is still a half inch (or so) gap between the tensioner rod and the tensioner guide when I push the guide and chain all the way tight.
Yesterday I was only able to find a chain for the 220d online which is why I listed the part number for the chain I have since I can't find any specs on it. It just scares me a little to cut the links off the chain unless I am sure what size it is supposed to be. I will look some more for the broken chain today as that will tell me for sure how long the chain should be.
The new chain and sprockets (190d stuff) are identicle to the 220d parts in the motor, so it just seams to be the length that is an issue. Thanks.
