As you can see the structure is compromised. Since the torsion bar mount has moved, even if I can find a way to reconstruct it and save my 300SD I would need some reference dimensions to correctly position the torsion bar mount before welding it all back together.

This seems like its above my current skill level. We had to weld in that area too but the mount was still in its original place and was not moved. If you look at the first link in my first post you'll see what I mean.
