My coupe had the evil servo that went kaput; swapped in a manual system from a 240d and am very pleased. Better if you have the parts car; there are differences in the wiring harnesses, connectors, etc. I did a complete swap and added sound deadening when the cabinet and dash were out. It took a few weekends and I drove around with it looking like something out of mad max for a while with the guts all exposed and the instrument cluster just jammed up there. Better see it through when you get to that stage!
