2peej, my 2.5 5cyl does have EGR, however I am in central ohio as well, if you'd like you're more than welcome to come have a look at my car for reference if that would help you.

I have a friend with a wrecked 2.2 but it was hit hard in the front, it may or may not be of any use to you in terms of reference (no, none of the parts are for sale lol)
