This is for Tank with regard to attaching those plastic pieces to the window regulator arm. I recently did exactly that on the two rear windows. The new plastic piece has a metal piece that sticks through the hole in the regulator arm, after you get the old one out (use a Dremel tool). The metal piece is made of very soft metal and you can peen it over with a ball-peen hammer so that it mushrooms out over the regulator arm hole. Continue peening it until it is firmly attached.
But carefully note:
Take the plastic piece apart and separate the halves BEFORE you peen the metal part over. One half of the plastic part needs to stay between the metal part and the regulator arm. Put a small washer or tiny metal plate beneath the metal piece so that when you hit the pin with the ball peen hammer, the force goes into the washer (or metal plate) and NOT through the plastic piece. (Don't ask how I know this). After you finish with the ball peen hammer, carefully reassemble the plastic piece and reinstall the regulator.
