Looking at the specs for the application of the compressor, it states it uses a 1/2 inch belt and that it will ride high on the pulley. 3/8 would be too skinny to carry the load.

The 1/2" x 39" belt size translate to 13 x 990. I going to use a better fitting 13 x 985 sized belt.

In the meantime, I installed the power steering pump to check for clearance. The idler pulley bolt sits pretty close to the power steering belt. I measured approximately a 2mm clearance between the bolt and belt. So I suggest anybody who has this kit to keep an eye on potential rubbing. It might be a good idea to grind down the bolt head to gain more clearance.
