I've been trawling the forums for threads and info, but had somehow missed at least two of the links you posted. I'll have a good read through.

I'm also looking at the handling and braking aspects of any changes. W124 E400/420 brakes, Evo2 rear sway bar from Ake (and polybushes), cut down W124 TE front sway bar (I can't find a 500E bar here and shipping one just isn't economic)...
