I am not sure what you plan to seal?

On Paper Gaskets when I have it I use Gasgacinch; a light Rubber Cement type of gasket gunk. Coat the Part and Coat the Paper and let it dry a little. Install it and it is glued to the part so the Gasket does not come loose during installation.

That stuff is thin enough that it soaks into the Paper and you can apply a coat; let it dry and repeat that until you end up with a rubber impregnated Paper Gasket.

Because you let it get tacky or dry before installation it does not squeeze out into passage ways like some gasket stuff does.

It is also is not hard to remove when the time comes to take something apart.

Not expensive either.
