Mercedes annual sales in 2011 consisted of 214,192 units. The number of Mercedes turned in during the Cash for Clunkers program was between 5,000 and 6,000.
That represents about 3% of all Mercedes for one year, or about .0014% of all Mercedes sold over a 25 year period.
A LOT more is a relative term, but .0014% is a fact.
