i experienced the same treatment from Phil as the rest of the folks on this site. he always helped with my 300D, and then when i took the plunge and bought a 56 220s, i think Phil was more excited than i was. we would spend days picking apart parts diagrams and throwing around parts numbers and somehow he would keep it organized and always respond kindly. He would always tell me " i work for you, you know that and i want to make sure you get the best deal". he was awesome and always a pleasure to talk with, he will be missed by all in this community and my heart and prayers go out to his family and fiancee.

Please everyone make a contribution to help his family out in this time of grief, let them grief without the financial burdens that face them. Phil was a great guy and even though we never met he was truly a friend. Rest in Peace. Phil
