I used to get any of the 15W40 on sale at the time, it can be rotella, delo or delvac all are great and under 30 - usually 26 at walmart, filters are usually an online thing or napa gold.

My current oil change was free of charge - I got 5 gallons of 50 hr used LE diesel engine oil, settled and centrifuged and pumped through a weird filter setup done by a guy I know. It cleaned up the oil nice. - The engine is very smooth now. - Free as in the guy kept 2 gallons of the oil for his work.

I beleive that mystik or TSC 15W40 is also great for its price.
