I have done such swaps, and I would NEVER do another without the donor car within short walking distance of the recipient and preferably close by inside the shop. Trying to do such a swap without the donor car nearby will always result in extra trips after parts that you never dreamed you would need.

Given that you have both cars, decide what you want to swap out and absolutely go for it.
