If you look at the other thread, you'll see my 77 NA only had 50k on it when I replaced the starter with a turbo starter. It had a lot of years but not much use due to the fact that the owner bought another car shortly after purchasing the 77 and turned the 77 into a second car. (probably due to its lack of performance at high altitude I suspect). It did turn faster and start better in cold weather with the turbo starter.
