I have a leak somewhere toward the front of the engine and coolant is dripping off the side of the oil pan near the drain plug. But I cannot for the life of me see where it is leaking from. In fact I am not even sure where the water pump is located. It seems like it is sort of side mounted rather than directly in front of the engine block like all other water pumps that I've worked on. I tried looking under pullies with a mirror but have had no luck even finding the "leak hole" usually found on water pumps.

Will someone confirm where the pump is located... is it the housing with all of the water hoses going into it? If so then the pump is offset and side mounted. Also exactly where will I find the "leak hole"?

PS I took the air breather cover off and I see no evidence of leaks from other areas of the engine.
