So how did it go?

I just received my URO W108 F&R Windshield and Trunk Seal kit. I have a VW background and I've done numerous window seal installs on bugs, buses and squarebacks. Are there any tricks to the trim that goes on the rubber or is it the same as a VW? i.e. Install the rubber to the glass, then the trim to the rubber, then the entire assembly to the car?

I usually use a cord stuffed into the lip of the seal, then have a helper hold the glass in place and put pressure opposite where I am pulling out the cord to get the seal lip over the metal window frame. Sound about right?

I'm thinking that I should wait till it's a little warmer because these seals are super thick compared to VW seals...
