That's not a gun, that's a rifle.
At least one person, an actor, has been shot to death on a movie set, using a gun that was supposedly not loaded with live ammunition. It is moronic behavior to be wielding any gun or rifle around for purposes of show only, and should be considered illegal, threatening behavior brandishing a firearm - regardless who or where that behavior is being exhibited - especially in the public domain.
The word assault, has nothing to do with any rifle. The word assault has to do with an intent or behavior exhibited by an individual - not the firearm. It is a word used in an effort to control any arguement regarding firearms - usually by the left.
Gun control is not about controlling guns - it is 100% about controlling people. Guns, obviously, cannot be controlled - only people can be controlled. That is the intent by some of the lawmakers - to exercise more control over people. If gun control worked, why was there 500 murders with firearms in Chicago, IL last year? A gun-free zone??
