i wanted to avoid posting in this thread but in the end i cannot resist. replacing the stock electronics sounds like a horrible idea to me. i would not want a car without the original instruments, especially when they are neat looking and hard to replace, as in your case.

in the worst case, a shop like palo alto speedometer could bring the individual gauges back to life.
