Well I have spent some time researching 5 speed manual transmissions that would bolt up to an OM602 2.5NA that currently has a dead automatic in it (you can read my other threads, but the transmission only shifts into reverse and has water in the ATF). I came across this on BenzWorld, seems to be the same story as me:

I also saw this, the 250D which I assume was the same engine:
Technical data for Mercedes 124 Sedan, Coupe, Estate: 124.125 (250D)
and as you can see, it says it was mated to the 717.410, 717.411, and 717.412. So question is, which of these should I be looking for? I'm looking for an overdrive to that takes the .404 out of the picture.
Also, for the conversion, will I need the master and slave cylinders off of the manual cars? Some "completes" kits have them, some don't and I really don't know enough about how they function to know if or why I need different ones.
I have 2-3 forum members offering me a manual swap, along with another member on here that informed me there was a kit available on BenzWorld (I couldn't find it myself) along with 3 or 4 that I have found on ebay, all of which I am trying to get the numbers on. Any problems with any of these transmissions that I need to look out for?
Also, what should I look for in terms of a rear diff?
