The huge grille star was once - up to about 1991 - reserved solely for the top of the line 560SEC and 560SL cars.
Now it's seen a,l over the model ine -- on the CLA, C class and even their mini vans and SUVs.
The cars now are built to a price point, and NOT first designed and engineered to a cost no object standard.
Not only has the brand name been cheapened by touting affordability over all else,QC and build quality has suffered and will continue to do so if this path is followed.

So if the new MB's are that bad why did you go and buy one? Iagree MB brand is not as rich as it once was. But that really all started with a W202. I cant judge the CLA yet because its not out...I will test drive it however to see if its any good and post a review. My only doubts are the price.
