Well, I actually did this very same thing on Sunday, but with the 80 240D.
Drove about 65 miles to Plesanton to the Good-Guys Street Rod car show. Hit the swap meet and picked up a bunch of tools, sockets, extentions, slide hammer etc.... and then went to Sweet Tomatoes for dinner and back home.

there were three HP ratings on the OM616...

1) Not much power
2) Even less power
3) Not nearly enough power!! 240D w/auto

Anyone that thinks a 240D is slow drives too fast.
