At current fuel prices that uShip price is probably a decent quote. You could try someone like DAS for comparison. There has been at least one thread in the past on recommendations for transporters.

Just for giggles, I paid $375 two years ago just to go from Long Island to northern NY state on my 300d.

For shipping a w126 interior, the power seats are the killer, less so if you remove the backs so they can be packed smaller. The dash will be a bit pricey due to box dimensions I would think. Then again uShip might be your friend on that as well.
