Have you considered buying a small diesel truck??? I know someone with a 2000 Dodge Dakota, diesel Cummins 4BT swap, crew cab truck that is for sale. The truck has an automatic transmission that easily gets 25+ mpg and you don't have to drive like grandma either. Shoot me a PM if you want to know all the details.
