Hmm--I believe its a double chamber pump. (Two sorta 'boxes' on the casting. Not sure if its a diaphragm--I'll take a look later, see if I can tell whether its diaphragm type or not.

From a W116--Well, Thats an odd one--No Diesel W116 imported to UK as far as I know--but as this was a French engine--maybe it got changed over there before it got scrapped over here....
--From what you are saying, Kerry--They would need to change over the Timer too....

Just trying to recall whether the timer had the cam ramp on it or not--it was a good few years ago I built up that engine and fitted it--Its still only ever done 40 miles since then.....
--I plan on putting that car on the road later this year, so I can do some much needed work to the wagon in the sig....
