Our 1995 C36 had a pretty standard "C280" W202 interior except for a few touches. I don't think AMG built the interiors, but simply made select modifications. (instrument cluster, etc.)

Our car had 100K-miles and was like new. AMG driveline bits seemed bulletproof. The new owner had an intensive PPI done, and was surprised when the engine ran compression new spec on all six cylinders.

And our 1998 C230 has about 85,000 non-babied miles, and is dead reliable and has terrific build quality. Build quality in both our W202 cars are examples of very high standards.
