Original electric connection to orig ICV that is not air controlled
I guess I should make sure to tuck this too for visual inspection.
The engine is sort of a mess to put into current smog
Old cap in 2008 not so bad but was replaced with new
Old rotor as found in 08 & was replaced with new
OLD rotor replaced 1800 miles ago & 5 years
Guess 5 years is alot of time to go by.
I chnaged the cap & rotor myself & Enrique was impressed
Cap was not bad but put on a new one anyway...
Guess this is a good place to start. to check current status of rotor since it was pretty burnt.
Will take pics first to get a reference & also to use in case I forget how to put it back together

On the sad side is running the car just to keep the battery up is probably been taxing the cat as well as the system
Bad me! but I have good reasons
I have a vision problem in one eye its 20 /200 so legally blind.
DMV caught it on a eye test for my lic renewal
so now I have to pass a driving test at DMV to renew my license.
My vision makes it hard for me to change lanes & to span the road.
Thats why I am scared to use the highway as well as its so congested here in so cal that its actually faster to use surface roads.
Add working from home & thats the story.
I have not been on highway in 10 years.
I recently took a driving refresher lesson to help prepare to take the test.
He had me on the highway & I drove it fine for a few exits.
It was scary at first but then I was getting more confident & actually enjoyed it.
I can't imagine how enjoyable it will be to finally get this car on the road.
Took the benz on the DMV test last month & did ok getting on & off freeway but failed for missing a school zone & going 36 which was over 10 miles too fast.
Automatic failure.
So its been a long hard road
The next test date is July 9th. It looks like I may have not have the benz fully registered so can't take DMV driving test with itto take the test with it.
That means taking a Volvo out in mid summer with No AC. Bet the DMV person is really going to love me!
