Maybe you don't believe that higher education for the youth of America will enable our great country to have someone ready to lead our nation in tech/industry/science??? Guess you believe that is the job of China??
I for one would gladly see $$ being spent educating our youth and keeping alive the concept of America as a leader in the world.... Most of us who envision our country in that way are probably not sucking on a tarnished silver spoon....
