Apparently, the United States Marine Corps trusted this man to do his job which he did and was injured in the process. He did his job so well that he received military metals and accommodations. Apparently, the USMC didn't and doesn't view him as a "threat" to national security and entrusted him with the armaments of war to carry out its' mission.

In contrast, TSA doesn't trust ANYONE, that is why they search EVERYONE, even military men in uniform. TSA has its' government mandated rulebook and nobody is going to get in the way of 'government procedure', not even a decorated Marine Veteran.

I can't help but wonder if the security guards searching him ever served in the Armed Services of the United States.........because if they had, they most likely would have shook his hand and expressed their gratitude for his service instead of trying to FEEL HIM UP.
