I've heard that the M6 can be an "expensive mistress" - Parts can be quite expensive. That said, the 6 series is one of my favorite coupes and the M6 being the best of the series. Looks best with Euro bumpers IMHO. Don't know how much these are worth but I think one must ask "How much do I love this car?" I think this is what matters most.
