Everything I find indicates B4 has "heavy duty" grade and "standard touring" B8 is sport (10mm shorter IIRC)

Yep, that's where I ended up buying them. Partly because they were one of the only places which would confirm the Bilstein numbers.*

I ordered two of B36-1385 which they were able to match to MBZ #124 326 23 00.


*The other reason I ordered from FCP is that they were the only supplier who would also supply me with Lemforder sway bar links and Hebmüller w123 steering box seal kits.
