When it stalls, immediately open the gas (fuel) cap. If you have a big SUCK then you know there is an issue with venting the fuel system. I had a lot of somewhat funky stalling issues on my '95 which were solved with a new lift pump. I don't know if the later turbo cars have the same lift pump or not.
