Thanks for the advice. As it is, I purchased XM about a month ago (Merry Christmas to me!). I talked to a producer I know that works for XM and she assured me that they're not going anywhere as there's been too much money put into the company for the investors to give up now.

Like you I think I'll appreciate having a human voice every now and then to make me feel like there's someone actually out there.

I haven't installed the unit yet because I'm going to ship it and the hardware out to La Jolla Audio to have it hardwired to the head unit so that I'll have TRUE CD quality sound rather than really good FM reception. Can't wait to listen to it!
