This warm weather here has really taken its toll. Saturday morning was especially trecherous, with a slight drizzle and an overnight freeze, the roads were one big sheet of black ice. 100 accidents on Saturday morning before 9am. Two fatalaties. One was a van carrying three passengers which flipped over the divider into oncoming traffic. All three were thrown from the car, the one who died was hit by an oncoming car.

The second fatality was similiar. The passenger was thrown from the vehicle and died at the scene.

No seatbelts were in use in both cases.
