funny....just ran into this today putting my newly renozzled injectors in. Close to 1730, was ready to be done, and zowie, #4 shield won't come out.
Tried needle noses, then my dental pics, finally tried what someone mentioned with a big screw, that worked. Turned it in just enough to bite, grabbed the hex head with vice grips and pulled it right out.
Heat shield just laughed 'was I holding you up...sorry man'.
