According to mbusa.com, the GLK350 V6 has 102hp more and costs $1100 less than the GLK250. I'll take the 102hp and $1100. That buys 275 gallons of premium gas around here which is still cheaper than diesel fuel at most stations.

GLK250 $38,590 200hp
There is no economic argument you can make for a new diesel passenger car in the US. You buy a diesel because you want a diesel, not because its going to somehow magically save you money.
