I found that the tapered diameters of a 300D cigar hose are a perfect fit for both the tank and the hard line.
Unfortunately, I just had to fill the tank since I have to go on a 300+ mile drive on Friday and the weather today was bad and will be tomorrow. I'll fix it when i get back from a photo shoot in Roswell.

Thanks for the tip on how long the hard line extends into the tank.
