No it's actually located up next to the firewall on the passenger's side. It's out of the way and because it's mounted directly to the chassis, I get audio confirmation that the solenoid is engaging as well as the LED in my momentary switch.

that's funny they bent over backward to make these things quiet and one of the things i like about this now is i can hear the OE relay click because i hit it before i put the key in the ignition.
