The fact that casinos have some armed security is a testament to the reason that suicidal/mass murders have not to my knowledge done their deeds on casino properties.

Of course, this could change tomorrow, but the fact of the matter is that every suicidal/mass murder in recent history chooses a gun-free zone to do their killing. That, is not a coincidence - it is a fact.

The message is that making any area whether public or private enterprise; a gun-free zone, is increasing the odds of an incident as has been happening with alarming frequency IN, gun-free zones in America...
The point is none of the Casinos are gun free zones. You might not have one, but the 'reservation security' as you referrer to them, are armed to the teeth.

And the term reservation security is not quite apt. Before Oklahoma was a state it was Indian Territory and the tribes, by treaty, enforced the laws. They were quite ruthless in their approach to troublemakers and developed a reputation as someone not to be messed with. These treaties are still in force, and in their respective Nations these guys are the law. Note that there are no reservations in Oklahoma and there never were. Large parts of the state are designed tribal nations and you are even advised of such when as you travel the state.

When you visit the Winstar Casino in Thackerville there is a 'security' force there. Check out the video, and then ask yourself if the Casino can be considered a 'gun free zone'.
