OK so I pulled the wire off the sensor. Put a price of wire down inside the hole that connected to the sensor and grounded the other end. No movement on my temp gauge. does it sound like I done this correct. If I did this means my gauge is bad right??? If that's the cause can I just buy a after market gauge and hook it into the temp sensor some how that way I don't have to remove the cluster ??
