Aftermarket Catalytic Converters
I am searching for any info regarding the installation of wrong CC during the conversion process to make a 92 600SEL US legal. The conversion company install a smaller kidney type aftermarket CC and the current shop is stating the back pressure caused by the small CC's caused damage to the cylinder heads and scored the engine block. I have personal knowledge of this probable from being involved in the industry for years but I am looking for [hopefully] some MB documentation.
