Re: M110 Cam Numbering

Although the V-8 engines M116/117 use cams that are numbered in even/odd pairs that correspond to their placement on the left and right banks respectively, the cams for the M110 do not follow that convention. Even and odd cam codes are to be found in both inlet and exhaust positions; examples: (Inlet codes - 25, 67, 74, 33, 91) & (Exhaust - 24, 57, 71, 78, 20, 95)

The exhaust cam codes mentioned earlier (24, 57, 71) are used in all variants of the M110, and share the same opening and closing points. The unknown information is lift, profile, and as a consequence, the area under the curve. The 78 code has the same duration as the aforementioned three, but is installed with earlier opening and closing points; it could be re-timed to match the others. The 20 and 95 codes have shorter duration; they were unique to 1973/74 Federal cars.
