Which w126 brake upgrade? 1st Gen w126 SD had the same size rotors as the w123, just vented. 2nd Gen SD had larger rotors, also vented.

If you want to keep your wheels 14" then the 1st gen SD dust shields, calipers, rotors and pads are a decent upgrade to prevent brake fade.
