Thanks for your input ,I was under it this morning and looked at the linkage ,the bushings are all their but they could use replacing ,the 5spd shifter is really worn ,Ill start here ,then drain and inspect hydo fluid.Ive noticed the brake booster looks heavy duty ,bigger than a stock 190e ,is this an upgrade from the factory?Ive seen a 400e booster install on a 190e before ,it looked like bolt on upgrade with no issues, Ill be replacing this with the slave and master clutch cylinders.It will take a day of tinkering once I have all the parts in.This was a poor old car before I started wrenching on it ,it still needs a ton of service from neglected items but has come a long way in a yrs time.I have another one in the wings which is an 87 auto cossie ,these take a little more time and care than my diesels but the miles vs smiles are kind of worth a few more dollars .
